For everything there is a season

Friends,

At the end of this month, this chapter of Cellardoor on Thompson’s Point will end. The Point is conceived and designed to gather large numbers of people. Over the past four years, we’ve filled our main tasting bar with friends standing three deep, hosted hundreds of food and wine pairings, and countless bachelorettes and other special events. Happy, unforgettable memories.

Unfortunately, as we knew (and loved) them, gatherings are not feasible currently or in the near future. So, with fondness, we’ll host our final tastings on Thompson’s Point by reservation on Saturday, September 19.

The next chapter for Cellardoor in Southern Maine remains unwritten, but in the meantime, our wines are available in many retail locations across the state.

In Lincolnville, like Portland, our tasting bars remain idle with self-directed tastings occurring socially distanced in our dining room, on our decks, and in the vineyard.

The vineyard, as it turns out, is perhaps the most significant constant of 2020. To that end, we will be harvesting our first round of fruit in the coming weeks. Click here to sign up to volunteer for future harvests. Crush 2020 has begun.

As this historic season begins to wind down, our goal remains to evolve to share great wines and excellent guest experiences continually.

Live your life. Be who you are. Drink good wine along the way.
