Awards: 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

By January 19, 2019February 10th, 2022Announcements

In January we learned Cellardoor wines won 24 awards, including two Best of Class awards, three Double Golds, and five Golds at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (SFCWC). As our Winemaker Aaron Peet exclaimed a few days ago; it is a good start to 2019!

Aaron and his team have worked for over a decade to prove that great winemaking doesn’t only happen close to where the grapes grow. We’ve known what Aaron was up to for a while and these awards affirm it: we are making great wine in Maine!

If you happen to be on the West Coast next month, Aaron and CC will be pouring our award winners at the SFCWC Public Wine Tasting on Saturday, February 16, in San Francisco.

Thanks for joining us on this journey, it means the world to share these milestones with you.
