WINEMAKER NOTES:
Situated within the larger Clear Lake AVA, the Red Hills Lake County AVA is distinguished by red volcanic gravelly soils resulting in high quality, intensely flavored wines. To our Lake County Tempranillo, we blended in small amounts of Syrah and Petit Verdot for added depth and complexity. The resulting wine is thick and concentrated with an interwoven medley of mocha, cedar, blackberry, and plum.
