The 2023 season, one of the harshest in memory, tested these vines to their max – a deep winter freeze that would have killed most varieties, a post bud break hard freeze on May 17th that wiped out whole vineyards across the east… then the rains came and came, and came…and to top it all off, a September hurricane.
Somehow, through hard work, relentless grit, good vine selection, and a little love from the universe, and thanks to our harvest volunteers we harvested 20,000 pounds of pure Maine goodness this season!
