WINEMAKER NOTES: The 2015 vintage in Washington was the hottest to date, yet mild conditions near harvest allowed for the preservation of this variety’s characteristically fruity aromatics. Although we normally reserve our Malbec for blending, this year we decided to bottle a small lot as a limited-edition varietal wine. To maintain the soft tannins and fresh fruit, we aged the wine in 100% neutral barrels.
