WINEMAKER NOTES: To capitalize on its fresh, fruity characteristics, we harvested the Sangiovese for the rose program early in the season. Following 22 hours skin contact, we pressed the beautiful pale pink juice to tank for fermentation. Careful to keep oxygen exposure to a minimum, we fermented and aged the wine in 100% stainless steel creating a delightfully aromatic dry rose wine.
