Pinot Noir: Vista Verde Ranch, San Benito County, CA
WINEMAKER NOTES: 2013 was an exceptionally early vintage for San Benito County in California’s Central Coast with most varieties achieving great fruit intensity at relatively moderate sugar development. Holding true to the vintage, our Pinot Noir finished fermentation with concentrated ripe red fruit and moderate alcohol. Like many of the Grand Crus of Burgundy, this wine has a hefty amount of new, French oak to give the wine depth and structure.
