Pinot Noir

Ripe with jammy fruit, this wine is velvety soft yet solidly structured.

YEAR: 2017

BLEND:
75% Pinot noir
25% Syrah

SOURCE:
Pinot noir – Inland Desert Vineyard – Yakima AVA, WA
Syrah – Pace Vineyard – Yakima AVA, WA

WINEMAKER NOTES: The 2017 vintage in Washington state was marked by a significant cooling trend in late September that lasted for the remainder of harvest. The delay in ripening provided the luxury of extended hang time and prompted both gradual and even ripening. To allow for greater fruit expression, we aged this wine primarily in neutral oak barrels.
