Pop the Cork 2013

Cellardoor Winery and Megunticook Market invite you to help us kick off the summer season and Maine Magazine’s Wines & Designs weekend. We’re transforming Rockport into the sunny Las Vegas Strip, complete with food, wine, fun and, of course some very special live performances. We’ve got our Elvis (as performed by Victor Trevino) and our diva with the powerful voice (but without the attitude), America’s Got Talent phenom Alice Tan Ridley. We’ve also got a Little White Chapel (who wants to get married?*) and multi-platinum rock stars, Foreigner! Tickets are $90 per person with 100 percent of sales going to the Penobscot Bay YMCA to support their community wellness program.

Not able to attend Thursday night’s festivities? Celebrate summer all weekend long as the Maine Home + Design Show takes over our tent on Saturday and Sunday with a showcase of Maine’s leading architects, designers and builders pulled straight from the pages of the magazine. The show features more than 150 exhibitors, the AIA Pavilion, and a pop-up gallery of works from Art Collector Maine. Tickets for the Home + Design portion of the weekend are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door. The weekend will also feature Let’s Get Stronger Together, a community fitness/wellness day and Harbor View 5K Road Race/Walk event to benefit the Pen Bay YMCA. *Want To Get Married at Pop the Cork?

If you have Pop the Cork tickets and are interested in getting married or renewing your vows, please contact Devon@mainewine.com. These will be legally-binding ceremonies with an officiant that will require couples to obtain a legal wedding license from their local town office (no license needed for a vow renewal). Due to the capacity of the event, we cannot allow additional guests to attend the ceremony.

Pop the Cork will be held across the street from our Villa location in Rockport, on the corners of Route 1 and Route 90. If you are traveling to the area and need to enter an address for your GPS, please use 47 West Street, Rockport, ME 04856. Parking will be at Camden Hills Regional High School (address: 25 Keelson Dr, Rockport, ME 04856 — off of Route 90 in Rockport) with shuttles to bring you to and from the event. Make sure to add this one to your calendar! We invite you to celebrate Independence Day with Reds, Whites and Blues here at the winery in Lincolnville. Enjoy an evening of Cellardoor wine, fabulous tapas and flavorful appetizers by Chef Lani Stiles of Megunticook Market and live, sultry blues music.

Grape Affair I

Spend an idyllic evening of dining and dancing as the sun sets over our vineyard in Lincolnville. Appetizers, dinner and desserts will be presented by Chef Lani Stiles of Megunticook Market and paired with Cellardoor wines. And as day turns to night, Motown legends the Four Tops will take the stage. Seats for this beautiful al fresco event are limited, so early reservations are recommended!

As our VinFest Wine Extravaganza begins to wind down, the night will just be warming up.
