The Villa

Located at the intersection of Routes 90 and 1 in Rockport, Cellardoor Winery at the Villa is our second tasting room and art gallery. We invite guests to come and sip wine as they experience the beauty of art by a different featured artist every month.

The Villa, formerly known as “the yellow house” to locals, has a unique character with its historic Victorian architecture, elements salvaged from a once-grand home on the Bowdoin College campus in Brunswick, glass conservatory, and ornate decor. As the Winery’s barn has a calming aura about it, the Villa energizes the senses.

Open 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays during the winter months and daily 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. during the summer, the Villa offers guests complimentary wine tastings daily and special samplings throughout the season. In 2012, we teamed up with Art Collector Maine to bring art and wine together in a unique and inspiring way.
